Just Add Material

Hello

I hope everyone has had a terrific weekend. The weather here, was superb today.  I am submitting another challenge.  The challenge is for Just Add Ink. This week their challenge is to "Just Add material"  This time I am submitting a box I decorated today. The box has been decorated with scraps of material I have had  left over for the last few years.  I originally used this material to cover my daughter's chest of drawers. (Approx. 3 years ago.) The scraps of material have been in the cupboard ever since. (Just waiting for a project!) Now she finally has a matching box to sit on her chest of drawers.

A Little bit of Metal

I thought I would try the challenge  "A Little bit of Metal" at the The Shabby Tea Room.  For this challenge you can submit a project that has a little bit of metal on it.  E.g Brad Charm Tag Etc.....   Today I have made a "Thank You" card.

Nan's Page

 This is one of my first pages.I thought it was a good one to place in my header. I completed this about five years ago.  The photo is of my Nan when she was about 18 years old. I love this photo. Nan is at present 95 and turns 96 in October.

This is nan now at 95.  Isn't she wonderful!

Love Owl-Ways

I am about to enter my first challenge.  Woo Hoo!  I was excited to learn that I had all the colours in the JA131 colour challenge at Just Add Ink.

It is my son's birthday on Friday and the colours are great for him. 

Paper:    Chocolate Chip, Kraft

Ink:        Chocolate Chip,  Real Red

Ribbon:  Chocolate Chip

Stamps :   Love Owl-Ways    The heart stamp I think might come from the  Stampin Up!  Short & Sweet. Or it may have been a stamp that I won in a raffle at a workshop?    (I store it in the Short and Sweet box)

Getting the Feet Wet

Well it has taken me absolutely forever to get my feet wet and start blogging. I was inspired by  Jodie from Everything Vintage and her post on "How to start your own blog"  I read this post a while ago and have been going to start a blog ever since.    So here I am. I love card making, stamping, scrapbooking, and photography. I love looking at all the Crafty blogs and the Home  Decor blogs.

Thanks Jodie for the inspiration.  

Well here I am and ready to start blogging.
